I am interested in engineered solutions to energy, the environment, and climate change. My research is in satellite-, UAV-, and ground-based remote sensing instrumentation that address climate and energy challenges. I am especially interested in methane emissions detection and quantification. I strive to combine my interests in hands-on engineering with my passion for solving environmental problems.

As a Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory, I conducted in situ and remote sensing of methane emissions from orphaned and abandoned oil and gas wells in the United States as part of the Department of Energy's CATALOG project.

Poker Flats Research Range, Fairbanks, Alaska
I participated in field work to the Poker Flats Research Range near Fairbanks, Alaska to use drone mounted lidar to measure permafrost melt due to climate change.
